After exploring almost all continents around the globe, André has returned to his roots, settling in his hometown of Neslpruit, located near the renowned Kruger National Park. This vibrant region, known for its rich biodiversity, holds significant memories and experiences for him. Its lush landscapes and diverse wildlife have played a crucial role in shaping his identity and passion for nature.

During his travels, André immersed himself in various cultures, gaining unique insights and perspectives that have enriched his understanding of the world. Each destination brought new experiences and challenges, broadening his horizons and deepening his appreciation for global diversity.

Naturally in 2001 André together with an old military friend founded Eagle Eye Tours that offered a complete travel experience for guests from all over the World. Services included, guided tours to Kruger National Park, Swaziland and Mozambique.




Robertson wine tours were born in 2014 when André moved with his family to the Western Cape. Services include, wine tasting tours traveling between some of the most unique wine estates in Southern Africa in the comfort of a 1964 holden special. On his farm he offered guests an authentic African culinary experience for lunch, cooking in oak wine barrels was the highlight of each tour. Food and wine pairing were also offered for guests to enjoy and experience the unique flavours crafted with open fire cooking.

Settled now in Whakatane, New Zealand, Andre has transformed his passion for culinary arts into a small yet unique catering business that reflects his dedication to high-quality food and exceptional service. Drawing inspiration from local ingredients, his culinary creations showcase the rich flavors and cultural diversity of the region, catering to a variety of events and celebrations. His hands-on approach ensures a personal touch that elevates standard catering to a truly bespoke service, making every event special.




In addition to his catering services, Andre now offers an exciting opportunity for his clients to travel with a personalized “cahporone.” This innovative travel experience combines gourmet food with exploration, allowing customers to enjoy an unforgettable culinary journey while discovering the stunning landscapes and vibrant culture of Southern Africa.
